Wanglin Bio’s “Second” Postdoctoral Researcher Holds an Opening Report Meeting

Since its establishment, the Postdoctoral Research Station of Zhejiang Wanglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has consistently advanced its development. With the care and support of the Jiangshan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the company’s second postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Yu Ningxiang from Zhejiang University of Technology, joined the station as part of a joint training program between Henan University and the enterprise, where he is conducting research.

On May 15, 2023, a kickoff meeting for the postdoctoral research project was held in the conference room of Zhejiang Wanglin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Attending the meeting were Wang Guanping, Deputy Director of the Jiangshan Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security; Wu Lixia, Section Chief of the Professional and Technical Division of the Jiangshan Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security; Zhou Zhifang, Chief Expert on the Chinese Herbal Medicine Industry in Jiangshan; Professor Liu XiuHua of Henan University; Professor Mao Jianwei, the workstation’s mentor; Professor Meng Xianghe of Zhejiang University of Technology; Professor Huang Tao of Ningbo University; Senior Engineer Dong Dayi of the workstation; as well as the company’s Chairperson, Wang Fang, and General Manager, Cheng Hongcai.

At the meeting, Dr. Yu Ningxiang presented the project proposal, outlining the significance, feasibility, research approach, and timeline of the study. The attending experts engaged in on-site questioning and discussion with the postdoctoral researcher regarding the project’s research direction, analytical methods, and plans for subsequent industrialization. They unanimously agreed that the research demonstrates a clear line of inquiry, well-defined objectives, and state-of-the-art methodologies, and is poised to achieve its intended outcomes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Wang Guanping, Deputy Director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, expressed his sincere gratitude to all the experts for their valuable guidance. He urged enterprises to make full use of the postdoctoral platform, align it with their own development strategies, attract top talent through diversified initiatives, cultivate internal expertise, and contribute to shared prosperity. He also extended a hope that the experts would establish long-term cooperative mechanisms with Jiangshan City in areas such as talent recruitment and technical‑support exchanges, thereby doing their utmost to support both businesses and society.
